The Checkprint Ltd history began in 1993, when America’s largest cheque printer, the Deluxe Corporation, expanded their operation into the UK. This was with a view to developing the European market.

The Corporation’s professionalism and dedication to producing high quality cheques resulted in Deluxe (UK) Ltd becoming one of the first Cheque and Credit Clearing Company (formally APACS) accredited printers in 1995.

The birth of Checkprint Ltd

In 1997, the UK operations were consolidated. This resulted in a Management Buy Out when the business was renamed Checkprint Ltd.

The premises in Hinckley, Leicestershire, were acquired, from where the Checkprint Ltd company continues to base its operations, utilising a highly skilled workforce of over 50 people, and benefiting from loyal customer relationships.

In 2000, Checkprint’s first year as part of the TALL Group, the company doubled the size of their premises.

Checkprint Ltd has managed the Barclays Special Cheque and Credit Service since 1994. The company has established and developed significant contracts with many other leading financial institutions including Nationwide Building Society and Metro Bank.
