TALL Group Passes Extensive Audits Remotely With Flying Colours
Following a series of extensive audits and standards examinations, all undertaken remotely as a result of COVID-19, staff at the TALL Group of companies are celebrating significant successes across the board. A successful three-day annual ISO27001 Information Security surveillance audit at the group’s Runcorn and Hinkley sites, and confirmation of a re-accreditation to the ISO 27001, has been welcomed by the market leader in the provision of secure paper and electronic payment solutions.
Jonathan Lowe of NQA undertook the TALL Group’s first ISO27001 assessment with NQA since switching from ACS issuing an accreditation for another year to the two English sites. Simultaneously, DLRT, part of The TALL Group of Companies, also received an ISO re-accreditation with the Lisburn, Co.Antrim-based printing specialist landing the international standard that helps organisations manage their information security processes in line with best practice.
Debbie Dowler, TALL Group Quality and Compliance Director, said: “The results of the remote audit are testament to every single member of the Runcorn and Hinckley staff team who work hard to maintain our high standards in information security management. It’s fantastic to be recognised in this three-day cross-site assessment, and their commitment does not go unnoticed. Every successful audit is an incredible recognition of their ongoing dedication to our company’s high standards.”
Next years’ audit, a recertification, will be a 5-day audit scheduled from 1st to 5th February.
Peter Thomas, Managing Director of DLRT, said: “We are incredibly proud to have successfully achieved the ISO 27001 standard, which demonstrates our ability to consistently provide services that meet strict security requirements particularly in the case of our market-leading Image Survivable Features which are becoming an integral fraud prevention tool within the UK Cheque Image Clearing System. We are wholeheartedly committed to having the best security practices and risk management in place for our customers.”
DLRT has held the ISO 27001 Information Security Management Standard (ISMS) for 13 years – since 2007 and also holds the Quality Management certification ISO 9001. Next year will see a re-certification audit carried out, which is more extensive and in depth.
The TALL Group also holds a wide variety of other leading accreditations, including Cyber Essentials PLUS, Investors in People and the IS0 14001 Environmental Management Standard.
SMEs Set To Benefit From New Cheque-Writing Platform
SMEs that are struggling to make cheque payments as a result of their accounts staff working from home or being furloughed can now access a new secure cheque-writing service. The Send-A-Cheque™ service enables businesses to simply supply the payment details, via a secure link, and within 48 hours a fully and securely infilled cheque will be posted back to them for distribution.
The initiative, between the TALL Group, Checkprint and DLRT, also includes an option for companies to authorise a pre-signed cheque meaning it can be sent directly to the recipient. It can also be used by companies that are looking to reduce overheads within their business moving forward and those with remote locations where a cheque book is not always accessible.
Martin Ruda, Managing Director of the TALL Group, said: “From just one to hundreds of cheques, this service acts as an extra pair of hands for SMEs, securely creating and distributing cheques on a company’s behalf with a very simple, easy-to-set-up service. It is time-saving, and once the company is set up on our systems, we can offer a rapid service with a same day despatch of cheques. As a further commitment to make the service as accessible as possible, we will waive its set-up charges for new users, for at least the next two months
