Runcorn-based TALL Group achieve regional growth accolade

TALL Group Fastest 50 Award

The TALL Group of Companies has been named as one of the 50 fastest growing companies in Greater Manchester.

The company is listed in the Ward Hadaway Greater Manchester Fastest 50 for 2018, a run-down of the fastest growing businesses in the region put together by UK Top 100 law firm Ward Hadaway.

The Ward Hadaway Greater Manchester Fastest 50 highlights and celebrates the achievements of fast-growing, profitable companies in the region by publishing an annual list of the 50 fastest growing privately-owned businesses across Greater Manchester.

The TALL Group of Companies has made it into the 2018 list after achieving three years of strong turnover growth whilst still remaining profitable.

The TALL Group of Companies will now go forward to the Ward Hadaway Greater Manchester Fastest 50 Awards 2018 on Friday 18th May.

The Ward Hadaway Greater Manchester Fastest 50 has been published every year since 2014 and is compiled and organised by law firm Ward Hadaway, which has offices in Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle.

Paul Johnson Executive Partner at Ward Hadaway’s Manchester office, said: “We would like to congratulate The TALL Group of Companies and every company in the Ward Hadaway Greater Manchester Fastest 50 for 2018 for their successes in making this year’s list.

“The Fastest 50 shows what tremendous companies we have in the region and underlines what a great place Greater Manchester is to do business.”

Martin Ruda, Group Managing Director at the TALL Group of Companies added, “We are delighted to have been awarded this accolade coming on the back of our success in being positioned 6th in the Sunday Times Lloyds SME Export Track 100 and proudly achieving the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2018 on Her Majesty the Queen’s birthday in April.

We have come a long way as a Group in such as short time. From printing paper cheques, we have moved with the times and now offer a full range of additional products and services with electronic payments solutions, business process outsourcing and cheque scanning fulfilment services driving our growth. A tribute to our hardworking and dedicated staff.”

TALL Security Print Backing Rugby League Stars of the Future

Runcorn-based TALL Security Print is proud to be associated with its near neighbour across the Mersey, Rugby League side widnes-based Widnes Vikings.

Having been a 1st team alternative shirt sponsor for the 2017 season, and looking forward to sponsoring the Academy shirt for the 2018 season, TALL Security Print is delighted to have its name linked with the club.

Now as a Widnes Vikings Pathway Patron, TALL is helping to bring on the next generation of players.

Dave Rolt, Chairman of the Widnes Vikings Development Squad and current Head of Commercial at the Vikings explains, “This is something I have a very close connection with as a former member, way back in 1973. The project is led by Roger Harrison MBE, (President Widnes Vikings Development Squad) who in fact was my first ever rugby coach way back then.”

Dave continued that the… “generous support is vital in giving as many local players the opportunity to realise their dream of representing the Vikings at the highest level possible.”

Brian Carney, Commercial Director at TALL Security Print said, “Our links, as a Pathway Patron, with the Vikings are helping us to come closer to the local community in which we operate, and bringing the ‘TALL Security Print’ brand name to a wider audience. The very nature of our security print business means that we do not publicise the work that we do with our customers. By supporting the Vikings, we certainly are raising our profile.”

TALL Security Print backs the Vikings ahead of big 2017 season kick-off

A Runcorn-based printing company has thrown its weight behind Widnes Vikings’ quest to conquer the 2017 Betfred Super League. TALL Security Print’s logo will be emblazoned on the back of the rugby league team’s brand new alternative shirt, which was officially launched this month.

The company, based in Manor Park, secured the position after taking part in the ‘Vikings Grand Kit Lottery’ last summer with some 40 sponsorship positions on offer across both the 1st team, academy and support staff’s shirts.

The focus of the lottery initiative is to raise valuable funds for the Vikings Sports Foundation, the club’s affiliated charity, that aims to engage, educate and inspire the local community to bring about positive change and new opportunities for all through rugby league. The charity operates across five key areas: School Sport, Aspiration Centre, Vikings Health, Sport 4 All, and Vikings Learning Centre.

Each business that participated made a specified donation and then entered into the lottery draw with every entry drawn out rewarded with a branding opportunity for the 2017 season.

Widnes Vikings will kick off their 2017 campaign on Friday 10th February at home to Huddersfield Giants, before travelling away to Wigan Warriors a fortnight later.

Brian Carney, Commercial Director at TALL Security Print, said: “Whilst there is a lot of friendly rivalry in our Runcorn site with fans of several local Super League sides, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity of this shirt sponsorship and the associated links to support our local community. Now in our 25th year of operation in Runcorn, we’re delighted to be developing our partnership with Widnes Vikings just across the River Mersey, especially as they prepare for another exciting season.”
