12th May 2020
COVID-19 Risk Assessment

COVID-19 risk assessment. Under new guidance issued by the Government through the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy everyone needs to assess and manage the risks of COVID-19. As an employer, the TALL Group of Companies, comprising TALL Security Print, Checkprint and DLRT, has a legal responsibility to protect workers and others from risk to their health and safety. This means that a groupof companies we need to think about the risks they face and do everything reasonably practicable to minimise them, recognising that we cannot completely eliminate the risk of COVID-19.

In accordance with the guidelines TALL has conducted a COVID-19 risk assessment and that can be viewed by following this link: COVID-19 risk assessment . This document is to help employees, contractors and visitors to our sites in the UK understand how to work safely during the COVID-19 pandemic, keeping as many people as possible 2 metres apart from those they do not live with. TALL understand how important it is to work safely and support our workers’ health and wellbeing during the COVID-19 pandemic. The government is clear that workers should not be forced into an unsafe workplace and prevention of infection by COVID-19 has been paramount by TALL during the lockdown period.

Business Secretary Alok Sharma said:

This guidance provides a framework to get the UK back to work in a way that is safe for everyone.

These are practical steps to enable employers to identify risks that COVID-19 creates and to take pragmatic measures to mitigate them.

And as we are able to reopen new sectors of the economy, we will continue our collaborative approach working with a wide range of stakeholders, to provide guidance for additional workplaces.
