Record Sales Ensure Successful Year For The TALL Group
The TALL Group of Companies, the UK leader in the provision of secure paper and payment solutions, has enjoyed its most successful year to date after achieving a record sales turnover for 2016. The organisation secured a pre-audit group sales figure of £14.6 million, representing a rise of 24% on the previous year.
This growth is attributable to a number of significant factors, including the first full year contribution from The TALL Group’s Lisburn-based secure printing business DLRT Ltd, following the acquisition’s completion in April 2015. Concurrently, The TALL Group has also witnessed a substantial growth in activity across both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, working alongside clients such as Allied Irish Banks (AIB) and Bank of Ireland.
In addition, The TALL Group successfully fulfilled a substantial export contract for approximately 20 million ballot papers for the 2016 elections in Uganda, the largest contract in the company’s history. The project highlights the group’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its presence across international markets and its continued focus on providing access to secure print and payment solutions in emerging markets. The group supports a number of ongoing requirements in developing nations, following previous assignments in Ethiopia, Iraq (Kurdistan), Liberia, Nigeria and South Sudan, in addition to various projects across the Caribbean.
Throughout 2016, The TALL Group also grew its UK Business Process Outsourcing activities. Around 100 organisations are now using the company’s innovative payments bureau service to achieve time and cost savings. The group was also buoyed by a number of new product and service agreements with organisations including Lloyds and Santander, as well as securing contract renewals and service extensions with clients such as Barclays and Metro Bank.
Martin Ruda, Managing Director, The TALL Group of Companies, said: “We are extremely proud of our strong performance throughout 2016, which further cements our position as the industry leader. Moving forward, we will continue to push our world-class technology-based services and solutions, both domestically and overseas. We are also expecting to see an impact from the introduction of cheque image clearing in the UK this year, with our cheque image scanner fulfilment business likely to reach record levels.”
